My boy wanted a special date.
So I said yes to a viking riding his bike, while I drove next to him.
I was going to put his bike in the back of my car, but he preferred we do it this way.
Sounds good Dashy…sounds good.
The cousins came to town in an RV…and it is rad!
We headed down to Capo beach for some heart rock searching with the crew.
Although some of us found the RV more exciting, when it housed the cutest little baby!
When Navy asked if she could watch Hunger Games (that is PG13) when Scout did this weekend, I told her she could, if she read the book first. Navy is a sort-of reader, so I thought it might be a stretch for her to get through it.
With full blown determination, Navy was so excited to sit down with a bowl of popcorn, to watch the movie version of the book that she read 24 hours a day for 5 days!
How impressive.
Even though he has been told not to do this….he does.
As did I, when I was little.
I have been pretty swamped lately. So when my kids asked me last night what they were going to pass out for Valentine’s Day, I gulped! It had NEVER EVEN CROSSED MY MIND!!! I ran to the sold out shelves of Target, and then had the most genius idea ever!
I grabbed a bunch of suckers, and then ran home to my computer and sent a photo over to Costco…
and two hours later…
Voila!
Valentine cards….check!
Surprisingly, Dash was being a stinker to Pippi. When I had a talk with him, he told me — “Don’t worry mom, I am getting baptized in a few days, and all of my sins will be washed away.” The kids were all so humored and cracking up at Dash.
I was not!
It seemed like a perfect outfit for “Jumping Rope For the Heart”!
Just a little casual sidewalk chalk that I came home to from Navy.
My mouth literally dropped open on her creativity and lettering!
It’s so good Navy!
And the best part, is that it was a game, that entertained the kids for hours!
Who doesn’t love a “family dance”.
We do!
What about a family dance with face painting — and a bunch of other rad stuff!
We do!
I ran Dash down to the harbor for a quick photo shoot to get his baptism photo.
Who knew that there would be so many outtakes.
Well…let’s be honest — any of us who know Dash would know that!
Outtakes:
And now..the winner:
His baptism picture!
