From the other room, I heard belly laughing from a “sleeping girl”.
When I got to the sound, I saw Pippi — who had Houdini’d out of her tent, and was making herself crack up at the funny faces she was making at herself in the mirror.
I laughed along for a bit, and then put her back in her tent — with an even tighter bobby-pin lock!
After some great Easter songs, Dash and his preschool friends went on an Egg Hunt.
Dash, being so sweet, just kept finding eggs and showing everyone else them to pick up.
But when he saw his buddy Dean running like a madman for the eggs, Dash’s competitive juices started flowing … and then he cleaned house.
Every Thursday, my love for Polie is renewed!
Navy and Scout are both the luckiest kids that get to benefit from Polie’s native tongue.
Ever since they started working with Polie, I have watched their grades stay in the A+ or A level.
Those rare weeks when we don’t get to work with Polie….I stare B and C straight in the face!
Thank you to the most stylish, tiger-Grandma out there!
We love you Polie!
Micah made one of my culinary dreams come true!
There have been two restaurants on my list for a long time.
Le Cirque and French Laundry.
He took me to Vegas, and took me to Le Cirque.
And it lived up to my wildest dreams.
The food was off the charts!
And my personal box of chocolates to take home was the icing on the most delicious cake of all time!
When Tristen had Blush in town, Pippi was in stealth mode. Every time we turned around, Pippi got a new diaper, some wipes, and had Blush undressed to change her diaper. This happened time and time again. Let me say it again….TIME AND TIME AGAIN!
Today was when we all became rich!
First off the house was messy because of the leprechaun — but he dropped a whole lot of change and gold!
The early risers got most, but the late risers were plenty happy with their loot.
All four thought they were rich after their round up.
And then I got a picture from Scout’s teacher, because he was the one who found the jar of gold!
Finally….Dash entertained us all with the Irish Jig!
And that is where I became rich!
We are a family of nicknames.
So much so, that my youngest kids even create their own nicknames, which can be a little confusing to others.
So to set it straight…”Ducky” is the same as “Baby Bwush”, who ultimately is Blush.
Here is Pippi with Baby Bwush.
And this is Dash with Ducky.
-
Same girl, different monikers.
Pippi is so happy that she and her baby have matching bracelets.
She checks to see if Blush’s is always on, and then reassures herself that hers is on too.
She calls it her “pretty”, which is so stinking cute.
Action shots of the cutest Dinosaur working it on our balance board.
You know this man is a natural, when he hears a crying baby, and goes and gets her.
And when he does, she immediately calms down as he bounces her on his leg and watches the game at the same time.
