This morning, Navy woke me up so we could go through her first grade memory book together. It was a far cry from Scout’s first grade chicken scratch and scribbling. She colored in the lines, wrote creative things, and did me proud! It was like a little adventure thumbing through her pages. My favorite parts were her tributes to everyone in her family, and these little gems that were tucked away in her book:
Jesus and the Golden Plates!
Can’t be bummed when she writes “That’s why we try to be our best” about Jesus.
