I’m glad to report that the OC Fair provided us fewer stuffed animals this year.
But an equal amount of fun!
Like Pops won a stuffed pink dog for Navy (by beating me in my favorite game — the roll a ball to move the horse game!).
Or when Pippi went on her very first fair ride of her life with Ka.
Dash thought he was Mr. Tough Guy on the motorcycle.
Scout and Navy took flight.
And Dash and Navy were chaperoned on the roller coaster.

Like always — it was good times.
While at the mall, my kids insist on the play area.
Today, for the first time…Pippi got down to play. She crawled and climbed, while Dash watched, played with her, and especially protected her.
One of my kids favorite things to do is watch old videos.
Many Saturday and summer mornings, my kids eat breakfast and then ask to watch some old footage.
They definitely have their favorites….but really anything does the trick.
Even Pippi is liking the videos lately.
And the most coveted spot of all….extra cuddled up on Nonnie’s lap.
My Mom relayed this story to me….it was from this morning.
She told Scout to come over for some loves. When he went over, she snuggled with him and started to tell him, “I think I liked you better when you were little. You were so sweet. You always wanted to be with me. And you NEVER gave me boloney!”
He said….”Nonnie….I NEVER give you boloney!”
Then he smugly laughed and then said, “See….that was boloney right there!”
And then he ran off.

I think I liked him better when he was young also!
Just spent the afternoon making a cute video with this gang.
Dash, Scout, Grey, Sidney, Navy, Charlie, RoRo and Tommy.
Yes, Dash is naked.
(He had a no-diaper disaster between the pool and the park. No worries, Micah came to the rescue about five minutes later.)
Swim, Park, Swim, Eat, Swim, Bikes, Eat.
Then Tubs.
Then bed.
Dash has finally upgraded!
And how perfect that he is sleeping in his biggest fan’s bed.
Long Live Bella!
The Pips and I had a special date to Costco.
Just as we were in the line to check out, guess who we saw….
Only our long lost Ka who had been at EFY for the week.
So for the next 30 minutes, Ka walked around with the Pips in her arms while she told me EFY details.
And of course, we ended our visit with a partial Clifford Kiss.
NayNay…we missed you!
At about 8:00, we set the whole clubhouse up for a night of camping.
At about 9:00, we left the kids for the night.
At about 9:03, the kids decided they wanted to sleep in their own beds until their cousins could sleep with them out there.
Just some sweet loot the kids picked up from a really low-tide afternoon at Three Arch.
They are loving B at the moment.
