It is amazing to be in Midway.
Even more amazing that Britni arranged for me to stay in her aunt-in-laws house the whole time, that is just around the corner from Susi/Brit.
Our first day held a lot of excitement.
Swimming at the neighbor’s house.
Scooter scavenger hunts.
Playing with loot from the scooter scavenger hunt.
An attempted photo op while the kids all fought for their turn on the hammock.
Then another photo op bomb.
Yet another….this time with mouths full of scavenger hunt loot.
And finally….a bee sting for this tough guy.
His reaction?
He came in and said, “Mom, check this out. A bee stung me.”
I asked if it hurt.
He told me, “No, not really. I just have this cool bump from it.”

I’ll take Midway any day.
Full of relaxing and fun….and kids who don’t even complain when they are stung by a bee!
