I love me a good road trip.  And our bi-annual road trip to Utah, might be my favorite of all.
The drill:
Get up around 4:00am
Drive right through to St. George.
Stop at Pizza Factory for salad and breadsticks.
Drive through to Provo.
Sing our “Y” song that Shem made up years ago when we finally see the Y…”B-Y-B-Y-BYU.  Do you want to smell my shoe?  If you don’t I do not care….I’ll pull down your underwear!”
And then exit the freeway at University Ave.
It is nostalgia and happiness all wrapped in a 12 hour package.

This time, as we arrived, we went straight to BYU.
(The kids got a roll of nickels.  As we drove, if they fought/teased/asked if we were there yet, I confiscated a nickel.  Once we finished our drive, they got the remaining nickels to spend at the BYU candy counter.)
Before we hit the candy counter, we stopped by the arcade, where Scout did his usual — scavenged for extra money.

So excited to be in Utah for the next few weeks!
