I have a picture of each of my kids at Sushi with some of our favorite Sushi chefs.
In my memory, I have each of them when they were little babies.
But as I looked through, I got them all while they were little except Navy.
Who knows why?
I was probably worried she would spit up everywhere when she was that young?!
Here is Scout’s sushi shot with Ru and Rio.
Here is the Ickity Dickity with Ru again after the remodel.
Then Go held Dash for his sushi shot.
And to round it all off, the Pips got in with Hiko for her sushi shot.
Bella spent the night, and woke up to these two in her room wanting to hang out.
Then the aunt of the year snuck out of the house with these two littles in their robes.
First stop — Circle K for some hot chocolate.
To their surprise, a lady in front of them thought they were darling and paid for their hot chocolate and headed out.
When they got to the front of the line, they were SO excited to hear the great news.
Then it was off to a sunrise full of elephants.
They posed by my favorite — the corn elephant.
Navy loved the polka dot one.
And Dash loved the “Nonnie” elephant.

Talk about a really fun special date with Bella!
They came home and talked about every detail of it for hours!
This boy has quite a few funny things coming out of his mouth lately.
A few off the top of my head are…
“Creepy” if it’s dark.
“Bad Guy” if it’s dark and creepy.
“Is My Turn” every time anyone is holding the Pips, and then he holds her for under two seconds and is done.
“Stop it” whenever his siblings are bugging him.
“Oooooh” anytime I tell him something factual.
“K” in a kind of annoyed sounding voice if I ask him to do something.
And my personal favorite….
With his dukes up “Why I oughta” (But he and I say “oata”) when he is ticked at you.
For the first time, Pippi met Goldi, Sterling & Elliot.
These four looked darling in their duds gifted by Ashly and Katie.
And the Auntie of the Century was there to make sure they all got along.
With another heel prick, we found out that Pippi’s numbers have rebounded.
Her hemoglobin is up to 9.8 from 9.2!
And she is weighing in at 6 lbs 3 oz.
All good news.
Even better news….they don’t have to see her until her 2 month appointment.
We just might be completely out of the woods.
But I won’t know until our next appointment!
We’re out for the night to do a little bullfrog hunting.
Between flashlights and a net, we were bound to be successful.
Unfortunately, those bullfrogs outsmarted us this night.
To be continued….
When I was little, I would always sleep on top of my covers or on the floor to avoid having to make my bed the next morning.
SO when I went into Icka’s room and saw this:
I knew exactly what I was feasting my eyes upon.
And my suspicions were confirmed when I asked her about the pillows shifted slightly with a stuffed animal at the top.
I wasn’t about to get frustrated at her the way my mom did at me.
I was high-fiving her all the way down the stairs until I found Scout to tell him to go make his bed.
Scout’s soccer season was extended two games for the playoffs.
It was a misty morning, and pretty chilly….basically, my kind of morning.
Their team won the game as my other kids froze their tails off.
So when we were back in the car, I drove our car to the Original House of Pancakes.
The kids were pumped.
This was our very first time out to a restaurant all together as a family.
Even the Pips was in tow.
But what a rip off.
All three of my other kids got to go to Savannah Chop House for their first meal out.
This poor girl not only got the Pancake House, but she had to sit on the floor where the mice roam at nights.
The good news was that my kids were perfect.
I could see everything start to unravel when the kid’s menus became mundane.
So I grabbed their Styrofoam cups, wrote their names on them, and then had them decorate them.
Somehow, the change-up made all the difference, and they were occupied until the food arrived.
Look at the slobbery, sticky mess I came across this morning.
So I went to check Scout’s “secret drawer” where Dash “won’t ever find [his] suckers”.
Likely story.
So guess what sticky boy got to spend some time in time out to think about sneaking suckers.
But quite honestly, I probably owe Scout some time out also, so he could think about proper hiding places.
Here is a look at all of Icka’s dolls.
Her favorite is the one in the middle that really eats, sleeps and poops.
