This little boy is the most polite boy on earth! He never gets anything without asking “please”. And he always remembers his “tank tou”. But there is another word that has crept into his vocab that is not quite so polite! This boy exercises his right by telling me “NO” about every time I ask him to do something now days. His “no” is always accompanied by a little devious smile on his face, because he is trying his hardest to be stinky.
I am working overtime on getting “Sure Mama” into his word repertoire, but somehow, he prefers the stinky “no”. So there has been a lot of counting down from 5, some time outs, and some gruff voices. He is starting to associate his “no’s” with getting in trouble, but he is like his sister and Mama. We would all rather get in a little trouble and think it is funny, than just comply.
