After gardening for a few hours this morning - and coming home with some beautiful summer squash, I decided to make Dash some baby food.

I had peaches and apricots on hand.  So I baked them up along with a few bananas and some squash.
Then I felt like it could use a little power boost of kale in it, so I added some of that.
The results:

About 20 feedings of apricot/peach/banana/squash/kale-homemade deliciousness.
Here is most of it cooling down.
The other was sitting in limbo, waiting for Dash to wake up for lunch.

Once it was cool, it went into the freezer — right where his last homemade baby food sat.
(Remember the Julien applesauce I made?)
Dash’s take on it:
He ate more of that food than he has ever eaten.  I usually give him around 4 ounces of food each meal.  This time, he ate about 8 ounces, and screamed when it was done.

I think he was trying to tell me, “my compliments to the chef”.
