Chloe and Trey were over today.
On top of my kids being thrilled to be with their cousins, they picked up some sweet new moves in the pool.
Chloe taught Navy how to dive to bottom of our deep end. I think it is around 8 feet, and Navy was retrieving things over and over again. It was amazing. She is three and swims like a stinking fish! So here is the toy, at the bottom of the pool.
Here is Icka swimming down. It is hilarious, because she swims in a corkscrew all the way down. She does three times the work, and is wiped when she gets up. It is awesome.
But even with the heavy workload, look what Icka got!
She jumped right out to show it to me.
I was so proud of my little girl who can dive down to get bombs off the bottom of our pool!
What happened to good old rings?

After Icka’s deep diving, Scout showed off another fete that Trey and Chloe helped teach.
My boy can dive.
(I have to laugh, because when he was about three, he could do the most amazingly beautiful swan dives and flips off the side of the pool. But he didn’t know he was doing them, and then when he tried to do them — it was a series of belly flops.)
Look at that form!
And that glide into the water!
And not to be outdone — Icka tried diving next.
Maybe she’ll master that next time!

Chloe and Trey — you guys are insane!
Thanks for teaching them in one afternoon what I have been trying to for a few months!
