Every time we drive by Dana around the lunch hour, I call Skilly to see if she wants me to stop by.
More often than not, she begs me to come!
Sometimes I have a treat for her which is usually edible — but this day Pips was her treat.
Skylar met us outside, and she showed Pippi the DHHS ropes.
She took her inside for a snack, and then came out and took some high school selfies.
Navy is my bug, and all things creepy crawly lover.
She is also an animal lover.
But Pippi, who won’t go near a bug, might pass Navy up in the animal department.
At Goat Lunch today, Pippi loved the goats, and was a self-acclaimed goat whisperer.
(Although it was a non-verbal, body-language self acclaim.)
This girl stood up on the kitchen counter and performed the Irish Jig for us.
This is a close up of her face — clearly she was really into it!
And check out this smug boy who was proud of his student in the Jig.
All I wanted was a cute picture of my kids in their church outfits.
Instead, I got these…
A runaway pic
A fighting pic
A show off pic
A props pic
A distracted pic
A silly pic
A kicking pic
A “model” pic
And a tug-of-war pic

At the time, I wanted them all standing nicely with smiles on their faces.
But looking back, I love these realistic pictures WAY more!
Every Sunday I get excited to walk by the Nursery window and peak inside. How stinking cute is Pippi’s class. She loves her class, and her teacher. Every week when I tell her it is Sunday, she gets excited for Nursery. I can’t believe she is my last little to peak in on.
Stories in bed can’t be beat, unless it is stories with a fun cousin in bed!
YAY!!!
NayNay is home.
I always have my reservations, when my kids ask to sleep together.
I know they won’t go straight to sleep, and I am always right.
But at the same time, I love when they like to be together.
And I am most often a softy when they ask.
They fell asleep with the light on tonight, so I went to turn it off and saw this sweet little trio.
And then I saw this tornado!

Next time, I am pretty sure I will be a little less “softy”, and a little more “hardy” when they ask.
I got a call from B. Tacky to ask me a favor. He and TimTom are heading to Mexico for a 48 hour surf trip, and really want Micah to go. Even though Micah has been in Vegas working this week, I thought the timing would be okay, so I said “sure”. And the timing worked…even if Micah was only home for 90 minutes in-between trips. So to make sure that his trip was successful (becuase he has his role on this surf trip — he is the cheerleader and the chef), I made sure he had all the fixins for his famous fried rice.
So when Micah walked in the door, everything was ready — including his trunks, passport and sunglasses.
And a shower, a hello to the kids, and a kiss to the wife all happened…before he headed out again.
Pippi was being naughty in the pool, so I pulled her out for a “Teeeeam Out”. I told her to go “Sit on the WALL” until I told her she could get back in the pool. I then went in to grab a glass of water, and came back out to this! Apparently, she heard BALL instead of WALL! How classic!!
I can’t believe that we are down to just weeks, before Skilly heads off to college.
It is like my very own child is going to be gone.
Good thing we have a trip to Utah only a few days after she leaves!
