I’ll say it once, and I’ll say it again…
“Nothing is more attractive, than a man who knows how to clean.”
In this case — he was cleaning the kitchen down to the nitty gritty after my pork chop dinner.
I mean — what man actually pulls the stove grates up to deep clean?

Did I mention, that most nights after I cook, Micah and the kids clean up.
So about every night at approximately 6:15, the hearts in my eyes grow bigger and bigger.
At church today…
Pippi danced to both musical numbers, in her “ballerina” dress.
And Dash schooled everyone on knowing the answers!
In this house, you need to be careful where you step, because babies are being “put to sleep” just about everywhere.
And every once in a while, you spot those baby’s mama taking a nap with them.
The kids did an amazing job at getting up and getting their Saturday Morning chores done!
So Micah took them out back, and created Adventure Park!
This was the scene a few minutes after they got there.
The zip line was being set up.
Scout was taking some sweet rides on the zip line a few minutes later, and Navy had her hammock set up.
(Sidenote: Scout was integral in figuring out what would make the zip line run the fastest — that’s our future engineer.)
Pippi and I went out to take a closer look!
And she couldn’t believe that they had her swing!
So next thing I know, my naked little girl got herself dressed (to the nines), and she wanted in on the fun.
And like any good daddy…he let her have two turns in a row!
We love bath colors around here.
Pippi’s favorite is usually straight up pink.
But Dash has showed her the beauty of mixing colors lately, and today she wanted rainbow.
Little did I know, six years ago, what a good investment these little Carter’s Halloween outfits would be.
They went through a lot of use with Navy.
A little with Dash.
And now, they are back in full force with Pippi — our little dress-up girl.
Today’s outfit….I named….Stinky Flower.
I wasn’t feeling great, and headed to lay in my bed, when all of a sudden, a little miniature creature crawled in next to me, ans said, “Let’s take a weally coot picture.” About five pictures in, Dash came in because the flash alerted him of what was going on. So he crawled in, and joined us. About 1,000 pictures later — most with me getting the framing off, we picked this as our favorite. Mostly because Dash and I were trying to get Pippi to do a scary face, and she never would! She just tried to look good in every picture. So when she finally made this scary face, Dash picked it as the winner!
(I’m hoping he didn’t pick it because of what he looks like!)
Micah pulled out all of our outdoor movie stuff, and created a Dive-In Movie….featuring The Never-Ending Story.
Scout and Navy had Seth and Cade over for the event.
Dash was also invited, but when he got caught in a lie, he was uninvited.
But we found him (and Pippi), working the system to get in on the fun.
When I read Navy’s sentence, “I am glad to be me because I am nice”, I almost got tears in my eyes.
Because, I’m glad that she is who she is, because she is nice!
These three were so excited when I told them they could sign up for tennis. Each one has individually expressed their excitement to me. So today was finally the day….and I think that there were a few nerves when we showed up.
But Dash jumped right in, and he LOVED it!
Then Scout and Navy were in their class, and Scout loved whamming those balls!
And Navy, my methodical child, was trying to hear each instruction and follow the rules exactly.

And for me….I love it!
I get to sit in the shade, while quietly watching my kids all play away.
