Krispy showed up today with a great North Pole treat.
We added warm milk and got the most delicious hot chocolate.
Or “warm chocolate” as Dash would say.
The Pips is taking big girl baths.
And look what other big girl wanted in.
There is something about sisters…isn’t there.
Guess what little pen-loving boy gussied up a helpless little girl?
Was he trying to express himself?
I wasn’t sure.
But he was sure…when I was expressing myself!
It was back to Carruthy’s office again today.
This time it was for her 2 month appointment.
She weighed in at Dash’s birth weight — 7lbs 11oz.
She is a teeny bit below average on all scales, but nothing drastic.
Then they pricked her little heel, and her hemoglobin was still low at 9.3, so we are still monitoring it.
And when Carruthy came in, he laughed a bit at her bow.
But when I asked him if she wasn’t the cutest little girl he had ever seen, he said that she was!
I knew it!
This year, the kids picked a winner.
And on our way to checking out, the kids were hitching a ride.
But then Scout and Navy came up with the idea of getting a mini tree for themselves.
We told them they could if they paid for it with their own money.
So Scout did the honors of carrying it to the check out.
As Micah tied both on top of the car, Scout and Navy took it as a green light to climb all sides of the car.
And then hang out on the roof.
And finally slide down the front windshield.
-
Now the excitement lies in decorating the tree.
Let’s just see what this year has to offer…
Isn’t it amazing!?
Have you ever seen a googly eye tree with a monster on top?
I hadn’t until today!
The three ladies of the house.
Me…I’m just chopped liver.
And the photographer.
Scout and I had a few extra minutes before school, so I decided to decorate he and Navy’s school lunch bags.
I guess glitter is a little girly for a boy, but he just so happens to have a mom that laves her some glitter!
I love when Tristen breaks out the camera and starts snapping.
This day, she saw Dash looking pretty cute, and grabbed an umbrella and took him outside for some camera time.
He has gotten pretty good at taking directions and giving good smiles instead of those kid fakey ones.
In the midst of the shoot, Scout and Micah came home from a one mile run.
And then this little masked girl wanted some camera time.
Nice work Bella — on capturing some good stuff.
He’s Back….for ten days!
Because he is a really tough elf, and he is one of Santa’s best, he only comes for ten days.
Because he sees what he needs to see in ten days as far as their behavior, and he needs to get back to the North Pole to help finish up for Christmas.
So on day one, he landed on the lamp, and lowered down some of his favorite North Pole treats.
With a little note.
I don’t know if I was feeling “Christmasy” quite yet, but when I saw Navy wake up and go down to find Krispy, I literally saw the magic in her eyes.
And then the floodgates opened — and I almost have never felt more Christmasy.
Pop Up Shop.
And I spent a little time merchandising it alongside Missy and Tristen.
Not bad — eh?!
