It might be a titch early, but my girl is HAPPY!
We both love just looking at each other during our millions of drives to and from school.
And then we dance!
I have never seen a little girl with such a motherly touch as Navy does.
(OK…maybe Ka had it as much.)
This girl is like Pippi’s second mother.
She is amazingly good with her, and Pippi just rolls with it all.
See what I mean!
Pippi has two current favorite meals.
Nonnie’s cereal milk that she tries to hide from Pippi.
But that mighty mini has a nose for that milk.
And then Pippi throws huge fits when it is gone.
Her next favorite….the “sammy” as Dash and I like to call it.
(Navy hates the word “sammy” and corrects us every time. And as a sidenote: I believe it is originally a Nonnie word.)
Pippi digs the PB&J with a glass of whole milk.
There is nothing quite like a game night.
Especially when all but one of us was able to participate.
Something that makes me really proud of my kids is when they are generous with their stuff.
Scout and Navy looked for hours and hours for sea glass while we were in Mexico. I can see how they are their treasures — and rightfully so. But when we got home, Scout packaged every single piece of his, and Navy packaged about 98% of hers, and they sent in on to the original sea glass lover.
We hope you enjoy their loot Bella!
I guess an addiction to blueberries isn’t a bad thing.
On quite possibly, the hottest day of the year…
This girl…
…was coached by a great guy…
and she made a goal!
All while this sweet thing cheered her on.
Or more like, zoned out due to the heat.
I wasn’t sure what he was trying to see.
Until he stood up.
For almost a year now, I have had the happiest passenger of all.
She kicks those little feet like the dickens whenever she hears music.
And when she hears my voice in her direction, I get those unnamed green/brown eyes staring right back at me.
I am so excited to have her facing the front!
Then we can really have a dance party.
11 Months (plus a week)!
She is crawling everywhere.
She has the deepest dimples on both sides.
She loves accessories like her bracelet.
She huffs for everything she wants.
She would live in the bath.
She loves to sing “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and do the motions.
She has two teeth — both bottoms.
I love to see her wearing anything that Navy wore.
Her hair is to die for.
She tries to take her bow off every second. But I tell her “no, no” and she puts it back up.
She is really happy.
She dances all of the time to any music she hears.
She screams for any food she sees.
She downs her bottles in about 20 seconds — literally.
She loves Nonnie.
She waves her hand for “hello” and “bye bye”.
She blows kisses.
She loves her sister and brothers.
She can kind of say a few things, but I wouldn’t say that any of them are great.
She is my little shadow.
She claps a lot.
And most recently……
She crawls up and down our stairs all day every day, and cruises to wherever she wants to go.
I love, love, love this little girl!
She is the perfect caboose.
