Navy invited CoCo to do the Chalk Walk with her this year.
We had such a good time!
But the best time, was when we saw the final results.
It turned out so awesome!

Like usual — we didn’t have a plan.  But earlier in the day, we found a picture of a cross section of a white Christmas tree that looked easy enough and looked really cool.  We changed it up, and made it a green Christmas tree, and the girls drew a million pine needles until we got kicked out of the parking lot.

Meanwhile, some of the walking group grabbed Pippi, to have her help them out on their space.

And when Pippi got bored, she found her own space to draw her own picture.

Right in the middle of the walkways.
She did a few.
(I turned my head and played dumb, when the lady in charge said, “Who on Earth is Pippi — who thought it was okay to write her name everywhere!”)
I was dying — but my nose was so involved in what I was doing, I didn’t notice what Pippi was doing!

Navy and I went the next morning to complete our tree and sign our work!  We were very happy with how it turned out.

And the best part — we added twinkle lights onto the “branches” so it was a lit Christmas tree — and it was so stinking cute!  I have to be honest — it was a crowd favorite — and we even won the Mayor’s Choice award!
We love the Chalk Walk!

And so did “Pipi Pizzazz”, who actually got her name included on the older girl’s space!
