Nothing is more beautiful than driving every day between yellow velvet hills.
The mustard is EVERYWHERE!
The rains this winter transformed the entire look of our landscape.
And it looks so, so much better!
It is so fun to have a real-deal spring around these parts.
Even though she might look like an angel, the sounds coming out of that recorder are shy of angelic. But her constant practicing gives us hope and a headache.
You would have thought I asked Pippi to cut off her own arm, when I asked her to unload the bottom of the dishwasher. She was mad and completely disgruntled. Like usual, she said, “How come I always have to have the hardest job!” We all laugh so hard at that one! Then she told me something about how I Nephi promised her that she didn’t have to unload. I never did, and I was trying to defend myself, when she got extra mad. Who knows what her deal was, but the video camera didn’t make things better. Basically, she is mad at something…and we were gonna get it…and the dishwasher wasn’t her job…..BUT it did get unloaded the whole time she complained! So there’s that.
Scout peeled his very first potatoes today, and secured his job as my new potato peeler.
Glad to have such a handsome and nice sous chef.
Our hills are covered with wildflowers. More than I have ever seen. The only word that can describe it is glorious!
See what I mean!!!
I don’t think there is any other way I would choose to spend my afternoon.
All of my clean kids enjoying the beauty of the world.

Rain, Rain don’t go away — come back a few more times to prolong this beauty!
Pippi does a lot of scriptures and prayers and talks. I finally figured out why she is on such a short rotation. She is telling the secretary who assigns them, that she would like to do it again! Pretty cute.
“Dear mom X O X O, I hope you have a great day today.”
What are those on the bottom???
Pippi said they are “itamins”.
She wanted me to guess each one.
When I told her I didn’t want to guess because she had gotten out of bed and it was 9:54pm, she proceeded to tell me what they all were.
A heart
A pie
A beautiful shell
An expander (like what Navy has in her mouth to move her teeth)

I told her I loved the note…but she better get her buns in bed before she got in big trouble!
Our fourth and final kids needs to learn how to ride a bike.
So our fourth and final kid is practicing on the grass hill next to Dr. Thein’s park.
Micah said it was a rough go…but that she was consistent and persistent.
She’ll get it.
Maybe not today or tomorrow, but someday — hopefully soon.
Just a mean game of Left, Right, Center going on.
It was Scout and his buddies + Navy and Dash.
Scout is pretty rad that he doesn’t care if Navy and Dash are there.
And as Nonnie was walking out to Costco, she asked the kids if they wanted a treat. They wanted Sunny D and ice cream bars. And about 25 minutes later — they all had one of each. Scout…you are welcome for having such a rad family!
On this sunny afternoon, it was like I had cabin fever…and wanted to get out! So I told the kids I was going to swim laps at the pool. They wanted in, so we all headed over to the pool, and hung out in the sun, and some of us got some exercise in. It is so nice for Spring to have arrived!!!
