For our final Sea World field trip, I yanked the three older kids out of school.
Micah was able to come too, so it was a family affair, and really fun.
The sea life was amazing. And since we were there early, everything was really active which was perfect.
Obviously, the rides were fun.
Our highlight was when we found the most insane arcade game! I would have never…NEVER let our kids play an arcade game, but Micah let them. And then we found this game that gave us so many tickets, it was addicting! I literally kept getting tokens it was so fun — all for a few tootsie rolls in the end…but we laughed enough to make it worth it.
But the best story of the day came from Dash:
We were going on the swings that go up really high. I told him to take his shoes off so his feet could get cool in the wind. When we were all the way at the top of the ride (with a complete view of the whole park), I looked over at Dash, and he was gripping his Ugg boots with his feet. I started dying, because that is classic Dash! If he would have let them go, they would have gone so far, we never would have found them! The rest of the ride, I kept threatening him to hold them tight. When we finally got down, we all breathed a sigh of relief at his bonehead move. Then we all laughed all the way home because of it!
Good Old Dash.
