If before children, I had made a list of the things I want my kids to do/become, I would have put “good readers” right behind good, kind and capable. I was never a big reader, but my mom is…and I think it is one of the greatest things you can do for your life. Scout has become quite a good reader, and he enjoys it. Navy is coming up in the ranks pretty quickly.
And recently, Dash has become a lover of reading!!!
He is so talented at it, and I bow down to Nonnie for taking her time to instill this love into him.
Now guess who is starting to pick up books!
For now, Pippi likes to look at the pictures…but I hope that translates to loving the words just as much!
