A few weeks out from Dash’s birthday, we told our waitress at Cheesecake Factory that he was celebrating his birthday month. The waitress winked at me, and brought him a sundae. When it came, he watched the waitress with really wide eyes…thinking he was in the middle of a big lie. When I told the waitress that his birthday wasn’t for a few weeks, and she assured us that it was still close enough for a sundae, Dash finally relaxed! then Dash said, “Mom, we should come every day until my birthday!”
