As tradition goes — when school is out…we head for the hot dessert.
In this case…temps were soaring above 110 degrees.
But in the name of tradition and fun…we went anyway!
First stop — the outlets, where a lot of naughty shenanigans were going on.
Did I mention that our crew was increased by the twins, Tommy, Charlie and the Hunts this year?! It was all a little cray cray.
Our rooms were great — ground level, and around the corner from the pond.
Obviously, frog hunting was first on our list.
It was Grey and Navy who raked all of these guys in.
Obviously it was Navy!
The sleeping arrangements were classic. The Stooges thought they hit the jackpot in our pull out bed! The best was in the morning, when they snuck my phone, and took a bunch of selfies and and photos of me sleeping. I thought I heard a lot of giggling in my dreams!!!
Obviously the pool was the absolute highlight!
Those kids didn’t stop for hours at a time.
And we all just lounged in the shade — good thing for those new babies!
Our few reprieves from the heat were the theater, Cheesecake Factory, and the room!
I think the kids thought they were in Heaven — because jokes and all forms of hilarity were all accepted.
Everyone was wiped by the end.
So in an effort to get every bit of energy out of these kids before getting home, we stopped at a hill for them to climb.
Pippi and Goldi made it half way up.
But the Stooges made it all the way up.
They were the only three to make it, so they earned a private pool party from me.
(Although it won’t be for a while — I need time to recuperate!)
