For the first time in my life, we have had a real shark problem in our local beaches.  Last week, a lady was bitten by a great white.  Just yesterday, they had helicopters above the surfline telling people to leave the water “calmly” due to sharks about ten feet from them.  HOLY COW!  So this morning, I got the kids up extra early.  We headed to donuts, and then to the shark-infested waters.  We sat and ate, while we searched for dorsal fins.  It was crazy to see the warning signs posted everywhere.  After about ten minutes of no sightings, the kids went treasure hunting.  We were amazed at the loot the overnight tides brought up.

And our best reasure hunter Navy, found sunglasses and an IPhone.
My guess, is that a man riding a horse in the surf last night heard the helicopter warnings — and jammed out of there so fast, he left all of his personal belongings in his dust.
