Navy has been so rad lately, I put together a little special date/craft night with her.
We had embossing powder, glue pens, the heater…and got started.
She decided to make thank you cards for her teachers, and this was our favorite — so it was definitely for Mrs. Mainprize.
It got late, so I sent her to bed, and told her she could write in it in the morning.
But when I went to turn off her light, I saw that she and Dash had extended the night…and she had written her note. It was pretty sweet.
The writing must have exhausted both of them, because I think Dash fell asleep right after he put the note on the table.
