Dash learned a song about fall leaves in school, and has become obsessed. He and I point out all of the brightly colored leaves all over town. He was telling me about how his teacher has a relative who lives by really pretty leaves, and that relative sent them to his teacher to show the kids. So now, I have a fall leaf trip on the books for next year!
In the meantime, he will settle for the leaves in front of his school.
He asks me every day, “Mom, can you wait a little longer, so I can pick up some of the colorful leaves?”
I tell him yes.
And when he looks for a bag to collect them in…
We settle for a McDonald’s Happy Meal box.
I love seeing life through little kid’s eyes…and Dash’s eyes might be the best yet!
