Church today started out with Pippi’s silent tantrum.
I was really proud of her, that she has finally realized that she needs to stay quiet — even during tantrums at church!

After Sacrament, we headed to classes, and then to Navy’s scripture and Scout’s talk.
Both went well…even if Scout and I just wrote his talk last night. That boy had it memorized, and gave it with a whole lot of confidence!
It went:
“Ni hao….and then about four more sentences in Chinese”.
Then Navy interupted with, “Whoa Scout! Do you think anyone can understand you?”
Then he said, “Oh whoops! I forgot that you all speak English! And you can’t understand me, unless I am speaking English to you. But do you know that in other parts of the world, people don’t speak or understand English? They speak French, or Tagolog, or even Mandarin Chinese like I was just speaking. So no wonder that in the Doctrine and Covenants it says, “And this gospel shall be preached unto all nations, and kindred, and tongue, and people”.
So not everyone is like u, and lives in this country, speaking English. BUT, we are all God’s children. And through the missionaries, who learn and speak all sorts of languages, Heavenly Father wants everyone to learn about His gospel.
I wonder when I go on a mission, if I will speak Chinese.
Who knows…I guess I’ll find out in 9 years.”

After church, I went to go and get Pippi — who is never still in Nursery, because a multitude of different people always pick her up. Today, it was Ka, and I found them snacking on popcorn, looking at pictures on Ka’s phone — all while cuddling on the back couch.

I always love Sundays.
But today has been my favorite in a while.
