They both insisted on their robes this morning (Dash’s wasn’t found, so he is in Navy’s robe).

Washing Machine Loot
For over a year, I have been collecting the loot out of Scout’s pockets before I do the laundry.
Today was the day that he finally got it all back.
My original plan was to keep it way longer — maybe even gift it to him on his wedding day, but I had no more space in my cupboard!
Between his “metal collection” and his constant cash, he was beyond stoked to get his stuff back.
He first organized it into piles. Then reorganized it. And finally put it into themed baggies.
He did this all, as Navy looked on after being warned, “this is MY stuff! Do not touch anything!” But then Navy started to see things that were hers. Her magic pen, a bouncy ball, and some balloons. I finally had to intervene the Greedy Goat’s good time, and tell him that just because it was in his pockets, doesn’t make it his!
He caught on, and then made Navy work for her stuff back. She organized and stuffed into baggies, while slowly she made some of her stuff back.
Navy is so amicable! And that Scout is such a swindler!
And the best find of the day….
His mini pencil that “took [him] so long to hand-sharpen at school!
Glad he is really spending his time wisely while he’s in class.
Sacrament Reverence
I am not sure what is worse…
A toddler running all over the place during Sacrament meeting.
Or a toddler who lays out with all of her art supplies, in the walking path.
They are both humiliating.

When you have no desire for a hard copy of team pictures…or an individual picture for that patter. The one time I ordered them, I just took a digital picture of my physical picture so I could have it with the rest of my pictures. BFF’s
Nonnie adores all of my kids.
But there is something special between Nonnie and the Pips.
It’s like they are in sync or something.
Maybe because her entire life, she has been rescued out of her bed by Nonnie. Or maybe because Nonnie makes her the best cereal most mornings!
Regardless of the reason, I am not totally sure who Pippi would pick between the two of us, for a day of fun.
I guess it would be a choice between shopping until she drops with Nonnie, or ding-dong-ditching with me.
I know I’d have my three oldest, but I think Pippi would be at Bloomingdales!
Scout 1, Scout 2
Micah and I are the new den leaders for the cub scouts. So today, we were headed off on a hike. When Scout came to the car, he was all geared up. And when Dash showed up, he was also all geared up!
With Scout’s help, Dash had his own kerchief (a dishrag), his own slide (a rubber band), and an extra hat Scout inherited from the Hansens.
Talk about a little brother wanting to be just like his big brother!
Birthday With Grandma
Each year, the kids get a special birthdate with Grandma.
This year, Navy picked the farm.
Her love of animals and bugs runs deep!
And then they headed to Oh My Sushi — a new favorite for Navy.
As she ate, she was adorned with hair chalk, and some butterfly tattoos — part if her gift set from Grandma!
My kids love their day every year, and this was no exception.
Buck Teeth Brusher
Is it possible that I have a child who enjoys brushing their teeth?!
This cute little thing is trying to get her mini buck teeth squeaky clean, about four times a day!
Navy’s Chuck E. Cheeses Party
Navy chose Chuck E. Cheese for her birthday party this year — big surprise!
It was our family, the Seastrands, the Nichols, and her good friend Sarah.
It always amazes me how much fun, CEC’s can bring into the lives of these kids!
Before the whole gang arrived, Scout found a ton of tokens to add to his allotment he was going to get.
And Navy wasn’t too far behind with about 6 of her own found tokens.
(I think they like the search for tokens, even more than the games themselves!)
Afterwards, she opened presents, and we had a cake.

Flanked
How stinking cute is the Pippi Sandwich!?!
When I got in the car, I told her that she is one lucky girl to be flanked by two handsome young men.
I was surprised when Scout knew exactly what that meant, and explained it perfectly to Dash and the Pips.
