Navy is one smart girl.
Smart to ask every night, “Mom, before I go to bed, can I just play with your hair for a while.”
(Thus earning a later bed time, because I LOVE getting my hair played with.)
She is also smart for figuring out how to braid.
(Nobody ever sat down and taught her this craft — this was a monkey see, monkey do undertaking.)
