Scout really made a doozie of himself today.
And after I assigned him sentences, that poor boy steamrolled like I’ve never seen before.
So in the end, he got himself 200 sentences.
Roughly 25 of the following:
“I will not yell at my mom.”
“I will not talk back.”
“I will not sass my mom.”
“I love Navy and will be nice.”
“I will make life peaceful.”
“I will be respectful.”
“I will not overreact.”
And ten of:
“Ten more, and I’m done!”
This boy was furious at first.
But like always, he came around, and stepped it up.
And then he worked hi magic….
And talked Navy into writing about 75 for him.
(Don’t worry, I insisted on Scout writing the one about being nice to Navy.)
In the end, it actually became quite the cute bonding experience, and they both felt really accomplished.
And the best part….they were darling with each other the rest of the day.
