Little did I know that Scout had signed up for the poem contest at school.

Good thing someone asked me if I was going to be there, so I ran from party set-up to video him.
I thought he did a pretty good job.
Then I ran out afterwards.
I later asked Auntie (one of the judges) how he did.
Never to be one who inflates her response, she said, “He did average”.
Today…I’ll take average.
