My kids really make up for me being the biggest animal non-lover.
Farm time is one of my kid’s favorites.
Pippi wasn’t timid one bit.
Nor was kissy-face Dash.
Between these two, I think every single guinea pig was running for their life.
But not to worry — this little one knew right where their hiding spots were.
Just a stinky twosome running in with their “swords”, yelling, “We are the Lamanites, coming to get you!”
Just a rad kid reading a bed time story to my kids.
The deal was that whichever kid showered, brushed and got clean undies on the fastest got to pick which book was read.
So Scout picked one of our all-time favorites.
Piggie Pie.
You have got to love when someone takes a candid photo of us right after we get to church.
I’m bending down to probably pick up something Dash dropped.
Scout is getting a “how to tie your tie” lesson.
Navy is watching intently.
And the Pips?
Guaranteed, she is roaming unsupervised.
(Please note the girl in the background with her book open, while she sings. Embarrassingly, this was all going down after church had started.)
You have no idea how excited this boy is to be a cub scout!
He got all geared up, did his homework particularly well and fast, and was extra nice to his siblings.
When he got home, I asked how it went, and I think I got every detail from every minute.
He loved, loved, loved it!
Navy loves being a mini mom.
She treats her dollies like little princesses.
But when the are real babies….
They get treated like little queens.
Mother’s Day was amazing as usual.
I woke up to breakfast in bed being made — but due to an “I forgot the oil and water inside the blueberry muffins” snafu, I got it after my shower.
I got some amazing cards!
I will keep these forever.
Then I got the most handsome man — in a sweet suit!
The primary program was SO good!
All three of mine did a great job.
Even Dash, who we weren’t sure would deliver knocked it out of the park with:
My part is little,
And so am I.
All I get to say…
is bye bye!
Then we went to visit Micah’s mom, and saw everyone which was fun.
Then it was off to San Diego where the boys worked while we did sister gifts and got pampered.
The meal was out of this word — as always!
Oh yeah — and Navy found Megadeath (the tarantula that supposedly died two months ago) cruising around their backyard.
-
It was amazing!
Thank you Micah, Bry, and everyone else that made my day awesome.
Even my sketchy daughter.
Happy Mother’s Day to this little firecracker.
When I take out my camera now days, I get a girl who smiles as big as possible — which makes her eyes close — while saying “cheeeese”.
You’ve got to love a boy who thinks it is fun to dinner-date with two washed up ladies and two loud kids.
