Scout’s special date was this morning.
We had the best time, and I love that he is a bit older because there are way more things to do.
So we pumped up our tires, and took off to Bagels for breakfast, where Scout responsibly locked up both of our bikes with the new lock he got for Christmas.
After breakfast, we went to Micah’s old neighborhood park with a bat and ball we bought at CVS.
We played catch, and got our world record for not dropping any balls — 34.
And then we set up bases, and played baseball against each other for about 30 minutes.
We had so much fun.
Then we rode to Daddy’s old house, and sent him this picture.
And finally, we rode to the garden to see what shape it was in before heading home.
It was one of the funnest mornings I have had in a long time.
