Once again, due to crappy insurance last year, Navy never had her 5 year check up. I wouldn’t really care, but I had to sign a waiver at school, that I hadn’t vaccinated her due to “religious reasons”. (The nurse at school told me to do that.) I still wouldn’t really care, but there has been a measles outbreak this year that has had any unvaccinated kids pulled from school!
How humiliating!
So far, we have stayed put, but they are already doing it in Huntington Beach, so I am crossing my fingers.
Good thing our insurance kicked in.
This girl weighed in perfectly.
And so did the vulture Scout — and later Dash.
And she was perfect for her appointment.
Notice Carruthy’s rarely seen smile?
He loves my kids.

So she is a bit tall, average weight.
Her sight was fine (although I was worried because she said a bunch of the letters wrong, but that is normal at this age).
As for vaccinations?
To counteract Scout taunting that she was going to get a bunch of shots, Navy kept saying, “So when do I get my shots? I LOVE shots!”
Everyone was amazed.
And I secretly laughed, knowing how classic my girl is.
(Reminds me of the girl who used to ask for more spankings because she loved spankings.)
So she got them, and didn’t make a peep.
Vaccinations — check.
