This was a great Sunday.
We all held a family fast for Bry, and tons and tons of people participated. - including Navy and Scout who didn’t eat for 24 hours. I wouldn’t be surprised if over 300 people fasted. Even his employees, who don’t fast, showed their support by fasting with us this day. It was incredible. And then we went to fast and testimony meeting, where it was the most beautiful and powerful meeting.
I went to give Bry, who is the Bishop of the ward, a hug before it all started.
I was surprised to see that he was shorter (his tumor in his back has eaten away his spine, and he is an inch shorter) than before, but was so happy to see him. He looked so great, and healthy.
The meeting started, and then some people bore their testimonies.
Megan started, and it was so sweet.
And then Scout bore his testimony and said, “I would like to talk about faith. We have this scripture chart at home, and it has a bunch of scriptures. And we learn a bunch of scriptures, and on eof the scriptures we learned is about faith. it goes like this, ‘Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things. Therefore if we have faith, we hope for things which are not seen, which are true.’ And if we have faith, then we can get almost anything done.” I got so teary eyes when I heard my boy say such profound things.
Then I bore my testimony about the power of fasting and spoke about Matthew 18:20, ” For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
At the end, Bryan spoke and it was AMAZING!
Two things I love that he said were, “I don’t know what this earthly life holds for me, but I do know what my Eternal Life holds for me.” And, “If anyone was in my position, knowing how I feel, there is no way they wouldn’t want to be part of this church.”
He was such an amazing rock for all of us.

And then….after church, and many hours later, we all broke our fast with a delicious meal and chocolate fountain, in honor of the Superbowl.
It was clearly a well-deserved treat!
