In a constant search for good behavior…I made another chart.
The kids start on purple, and based on their actions throughout the day, they move up or down.
In order to get to the Yellow, they first have to get to the green, and then go to pink by reading 20 minutes, and then yellow by having a hero story from the day.
That hero story could be reading to a younger sibling, being extra kind to someone at school, doing their chores without being reminded, etc.
The yellow gets them a “daily” little treat they get to choose.
And each day, if they get to the yellow, they can move their clippy across the bottom.
And when they move it across to the star, they get something out of the treasure box.
Dash was so excited, because he was the first person to move his clippie up from purple to blue!

I had high hopes for this chart, but we have already done it for a few days, and I’m thinking that it is not my best one yet.
Too many moving parts!
But I tried, and will keep on trying!
