As usual, we headed down to the harbor to check out the Turkey Trot.
And this time, Seth told his boys that whomever could beat Micah in the 5K, would get $100.
Check out all of these tired runner.
But it was worth the exhaustion, because Gabe, Christian and Spank won $100.
(Maybe Covey did also?)
Poor Seth didn’t know that Micah isn’t in his best shape at the moment.
Scout ran the whole 5K for the second year in a row.
But when he was bummed that he didn’t get the $100, Micah said if he could beat a kid that was dressed up as “Flash” in the kid’s race, he would get $100. And I’m proud to report that he is $100 richer after that kid run.
And Navy was escorted by Seth, although she bowed out half way through.
These spectators got the award for being the cutest.
We saw Bree, Alexa and Grandma down there which was really fun — especially for Dash.
Check out this cone head!
After we got home, we all got to working on our Thanksgiving dinner.
I love seeing a young boy working!
Then there was some competing against Papa.
Not many could beat his 40 push ups.
But Papa couldn’t hang with this crowd on the one-foot balance.
Then we headed over to Auntie Gails for some tasty food.
You’ve got to love this pic of the old and young.
Poor Alexa probably feels like crazy-town has paid her a visit after we see her, but my kids adore her in on their antics.
We didn’t get a group shot this year, but we got some good ones of Grandma and the orphans — AKA my poorly-dressed/manicured kids.
And finally, it was full circle when we headed back home for round two of tasty food!
