Each of my kids got a chocolate advent calendar at the beginning of the month. You wouldn’t believe that Dash’s lasted a day. He somehow climbed to the high spot where they were displayed, and swiped his down and went to town. The poor guy looked bummed every time Scout and Navy had their one piece of chocolate each morning.
So he took matters into his own hands, and climbed again, and swiped for the second time.
Here he is…caught in the act.
By the time I saw him, he had already torn Scout’s whole calendar apart, and eaten all but four chocolates.
But Scout took it in stride when he came home from school to see the mess. He said, “That’s okay Dashy…I don’t like those chocolates anyway.”
That’s the Christmas spirit!
But you can understand why Krispy, who brought chocolate spoons for the kids, wrote, “Just add warm milk! And tell Dash not to touch me!”.
