Dash walks around all day doing whatever the heck he wants.
And when he is questioned by anyone about what he is doing, he just says, “Mom said.”
He used to get away with it — a lot! But now, three weeks into his scam, people are onto him and don’t believe him anymore.

And when “the mom” questions him you ask?
He just tells me that “Dad Said.”
And if Dad is in the room…obviously… “Nonnie said.”

(Update one week later….I looked out and saw Dash eating a bag of cotton candy for breakfast. I knew he had the bag, but also knew he couldn’t open it. So I went out and asked who had opened it for him, and he told me Nonnie had. I knew NOnnie wouldn’t approve of cotton candy for breakfast, so I went up and questioned her. She said to me, “I told him he needed to have cereal for breakfast. But then he told me that ‘Mommie said’, so I opened it. I did think it was a little weird.”)
