One morning as Scout ate breakfast before school, he yelled my name over and over. I quickly wanted to know what was worth possibly waking up the entire household. When I saw Daisy and Donald in our pool for the first time in two years, I felt he was justified!
He immediately went to get some bread to feed his little buddies.
He might have been a little late to school — but again, I felt he was justified!
Ten minutes later, this little weasel woke up and was SO excited! He tried to feed them, but was having a hard time getting the bread over the fence.
So he fed himself instead.
Then this tired little girl rolled out of bed, and was as excited as the rest.
She even braved a chilly morning to get her ducks fed.
And these three weren’t the only ones excited.
When I told Pippi about the ducks, she was pretty excited to learn that we actually have pets!
