Scout’s Valentine party this year consisted of class Valentines, Valentine mailboxes, Valentine snacks and a Valentine game.
Simple, simple, simple.
But the night before required a bit more work.
Grandma and I helped put Scout and Navy’s Valentine’s together.
I never got a picture, but they were licorice ropes, tied like a lasso with tiny rope, and a tag that read, “Valentine, you roped me in! Your friend, Scout/Navy.”
Meanwhile, Micah helped Scout with his Valentine’s mailbox.
And what a box it was!

In one corner are everyone’s boxes together.
And in the other corner — Scout’s box solo.

Sidenote: Another Valentine school activity was their jump rope for the heart.
Scout started practicing about a week ago, and he was horrible.
But after his week of practice, he ended up one of the top three in his class.
And then became a good instructor to his mini me.
