Scout and Navy started talking about fair earlier this week. They spent two day sin quiet time planning all of the details of it — including the guests, the costs, games and food. It was pretty endearing. So tonight it all went down. Unfortunately, some of the invitees were out of town, and couldn’t make it, so it quickly became a family fair. As soon as Dad came home, the games began.
Amongst several blindfolded games (like when we went into me beyond messy closet - due to their hide and seek game in it earlier in the day, and in the pitch black had to find the hidden frisbee), there was the ball toss. It was so cute, they had prizes for the winner of each game…and Dad was the winner of the ball toss.
They felt so accomplished at the end of their fair. And later that night, as Micah and I were talking before bed, Micah said, “You know what is funny….I was looking forward to their fair all day long.”
So was I!
