On Scout’s early day, I told them to get in the car and that we were going to surprise the Brockbanks. Too bad that we were the ones surprised when we found out that they were at the beach for the afternoon. Whoops. I guess my impromptu stop offs don’t always work out! That’s alright though. We had a fun afternoon in their house/backyard. And before we left, we left them a few surprises.

We had a good time, and went home happy. Especially knowing that their house cleaner had made their house spotless just hours before we had arrived.
But nothing made me as happy as when I called Bryan the next day to find out that he was so annoyed with the house cleaner who Megan thought had screwed up on their sheets — but Bryan thought had played a trick on them. (Maria is a very soft-spoken 65 year old woman, who I am sure isn’t the tricking type!)
But when he started to go into the story and heard my vindictive laugh, he was on to us.
We had a great laugh…but I am pretty sure that guy will be changing his garage code soon!
