Scout ran into me one morning and asked, “Mom….where is a card and envelope?”
I told him where, and I didn’t see him again for 20 minutes.
When he returned, he said that he forgot to give his Valentine her letter.
Then he showed it to me.
I was so touched.
His Valentine he had skipped was his sister Navy.
“Scout, to Navy”

“My sweet favorite girl of mine. You are my angel.”

And then he glued an angel on the back for her.
It was the cutest, sweetest thing I have ever seen.
And when that sweet angel received it, she was determined to not like it, and wouldn’t even open it.
I was so disgusted by her reaction that I told Scout to go give it to Bella because she would love it!
To which he replied, “I can’t give it to anyone else except my Valentine.”
So with a few silent eye threats, she finally opened it and mumbled out a thank you.
Needless to say we “talked” after Scout was gone.
