Guess who turned four years old?
Only the cutest, sweetest, sassiest and most delicious girl in the world.
Her birthday landed on a Sunday, so we opened presents before church.
Scout did the wrapping, and was pretty proud (and a little too cool).
Amongst princess dresses, art supplies and other goodies, her uncle sent her a dozen beautiful “princess roses”.
And Scout got her a magnifying glass they are excited to look at bugs with.
And in true Navy fashion, she didn’t like the attention, so headed off to play with the IPad smack dab in the middle of present time. This was only a minor stop off because I am getting her past this awkward stage immediately. So back to presents it was.
And afterwards, she took her baby brother for a ride down the hall.
He was holding on for dear life.
But had many successful round-trips.
And later that night — it was dinner with friends and dessert with a birthday candle in it for our big, clearly-tired four year old!
