Unbeknownst to me, Scout came up with the idea of having a picnic with the neighbors. He went and told them, and they were on board. I was finally made aware of the plans when he came in to tell me that he needed for me to get a few things together for him. A Blanket, and food. On his list of food:
Bananas
Edamame (warmed)
Cucumbers (with salt–a new item on his list of food he will eat–YAY!)
Raspberries
–
That was it.
When I asked him if he wanted any sort of sandwich, he replied with, “No mom….I am just really simple in my foods.”
