We haven’t been outside with our sidewalk chalk in forever.
But today, we revisited it, and the kids are in love all over again.
Our neighbor Liv traced their bodies, and then my kids colored them in.

Navy, who we have recently found out is an excellent artist (and always stays in the lines) spent a ton of time on hers.

(I remember why we put the chalk up a while back — it gets the kids filthy!)
All of this was exciting for Dash to watch from his high chair.
This was the scene.
Dash munching on snacks in his chair while Icka colored and Scout played ball in the cul-de-sac with our neighbor after he finished his picture.
When it was time to wrap things up, I de-clothed them and put their stuff in the wash.
Then we headed to the bath where they got all clean.
Then they put on their PJ’s (AKA underpants).
But to keep them warm, they got to wear their robes also.
Then it was off for a few minutes of Sesame Street before bed.
But apparently coloring took it out of Icka.
So with a sweet kiss from Scout – off to bed they went.
