Whenever my kids are sick, I make them a sick bed on the couch. So when Dash woke up sick with a fever (about 103 degrees), Scout reminded me that he needed a sick bed. I agreed as long as Scout and Navy were there to make sure he didn’t roll off.
Obviously they were game because along with a sick bed goes Sesame Street.

I originally thought Dash’s fever was due to teething because his gums are really sore. But it turns out that he had Rosiola — which starts out with a high fever and then turns into a rash on his trunk a few days later. Thanks to Dr. Scummy who diagnosed it. Nonnie thought she was crazy, but Carruthy confirmed that she was right on the money just a day later. Now Nonnie owes Scummy a shopping spree! (Although Nonnie says she will only pay up with a family dinner!)
