It blows my mind that this boy is already half a year old.  It seems like yesterday I had him.  I am literally in shock.  That being said, this boy grows more perfect with age.  Talk about a baby who only cries if he is hungry!  I am one lucky Mom to have #3 be such an angel.
His latest stuff is pretty exciting.
-
He currently has his first tooth breaking through, and I feel a bump for his second one.  His first tooth is his front, bottom left tooth, and he has been a little trooper.  Not much crying — especially after a little squirt of Tylenol.
-
This boy is a little copy cat.  If I cough, it might takes him a second, but he then spends the next hour coughing for everyone.  I have given him about 100 mini parties with a lot of “hip hip hooray”s for each time he does it.  My favorite is when I was nursing him at four in the morning and after he was done, I hear him muster up a little cough.  I was exhausted, but I still had a little celebration with a decently loud hip hip hooray.  I wonder if Micah found the charm in that, or the annoyance?
-
Speaking of copying, this boy will sing with me when my mom or I sing to him.  My mom has been rocking him lately and singing the nursery rhymes to him, and he just lays back and stares into her eyes and is completely mesmerized.  And then when he snaps out of it, he sings with her.  It is absolutely the sweetest thing you’ll ever see.

This boy is a champion eater.  From the first time he ate baby food, he takes it in and doesn’t really spit it out.  He is pretty easy to feed.  He also likes everything.  Every type of baby food combo, my homemade baby food, my in-a-pinch concoctions and even sushi rice — which happens to be his favorite.
-
This boy doesn’t sit up, roll or crawl at all.  He can turn over, but I don’t like to let him down enough to practice any of the other stuff.  And if I could, I would pause his growth for a few years, because I am so in love with him.
-
This boy loves to lay on his back and play with his feet.  And Navy helps me out with always ripping off his socks and cleaning out any sock residue that might be between his toes.  (Honestly, it drives me nuts that she does this whenever she has the opportunity, but she really thinks she is doing his a great service, so I go with it.)

This boy is a mama’s boy.
-
This boy was a bit constipated when he started having more formula, but everything has been worked out now.
Thank you baby suppositories.
-
This boy smiles from ear to ear all day long, and especially loves when I kiss his neck and my chin bone tickles him.  That’s when I get the gut laughs.
-
This boy might cry, but the second he sees his mom, he doesn’t have a worry in the world.
-
This boy lays on his tummy and with his arms and legs lifted off the ground, kicks and waves frantically fpr about 25 seconds straight.  I think he has a really good core.
-
This boy still loves the bath, and especially loves when I have him in there by himself on his back in about 2 inches of water.  He splashes for as long as I will let him be in there.
-
This boy looks like he has a touch of eczema.  Mostly behind his knees.  But nothing Bag Balm doesn’t wipe away in a day.
-
I could go on and on about how perfect this boy of mine is, but I’m keeping some of it secret.  I don’t want anyone reading this to get jealous.
