Our first scavenger hunt was great, but I knew I could improve on it.  Instead of colored ribbons that were decently camouflaged, I decided to make the same green star our of painter’s tape all over.  the consistency proved to be better for the kids, and I was able to put more out.

The rule was to find the star, and pull off the tab that had your letter on it and stick it to your tummy.
When all ten were collected — go home.
First one home wins!

The teams:
Micah & Scout
Britni & RoRo

J & Grey
Bella & Sushi
(Not pictured because they were major competitors and didn’t want to stay for a pic.)

But I did catch up with them on the Ranger to see Icka grabbing her “N” tab.

And then as the directions stated, she put it on her tummy with the rest of her tabs.

Micah said that Scout was awesome and found them all on his own.  Apparently he is really observant like his mom.

RoRo was great at finding them also, and like before, he was off to get his tab before the scooter came to a complete stop.

Poor J.
This team struggled.
And it was all hilarious until we found out J is red/green colorblind and he couldn’t see the stars.
I feel responsible and rude.
Next time I will use camo tape to make it more of an even playing field J!

In the end, there was one star that had everyone stumped.  I put it on the street, and people rode over it a bunch of times.  Bella finally saw it, and with hints, the other three teams made their way to it also.

My little teammate was Dizzy Dizzy Dizash.
He hung with me in the Ranger, and then finally fell asleep.
Have I ever mentioned that this boy is literally a dream?!

Scootermania was awesome the second time around.
And all three teams (minus J) all finished within two minutes of each other.
So they all got the reward.
