Scout had his preschool performance in honor of St. Patty’s Day. They did the Irish Jig. Miss Dianne was a little worried about his leg during the first practices of it, but after sitting out twice, Scout hopped up and said he could do it. And did it — he definitely did!
But before we left, I had a magical idea and grabbed our Ireland hats. He was excited about it, but during this picture, he thought his orange hair was a little itchy. But we fixed that, and he went Irish the rest of the day.
When we got to the performance, I stuck Icka’s hat on with a bow.
And of course, Dash had his on too.

The performance was hysterical! Scout was faster and ahead of everyone. (Remember — just like me!) He was awesome. He was kicking and hitting his chin with his kicks, and hopping all over. Miss Dianne said what I was thinking, “Wow, and this boy was in a body cast only a month ago!” You would have never known it! And every time my mom called out to Will, the boy who really looked like he should be in Riverdance, Scout would try a little harder. Sweet little competitor. I had my video, and am so glad I will always have it to remember. In fact, NayNay was laughing so hard at it, she took a video of the video to show B and Ka. And as we were all at the mall later that night, the three of them were watching it and almost crying they were laughing so hard!

Afterwards, the kids got their leprechaun nets and went hunting.
They are really quick and pesky, but Riley found a pot of gold one of them had dropped.
Here are the kids waiting for their share of gold! Notice the two redheads!
Scout shared some with Icka.
And all three Irish children lived happily ever after.
Top of the mornin’ to ya.
