Scout’s cast could be considered a deadly weapon. I accidentally scraped my knuckle across it, and had a “cast burn” for about a week — and it hurt! But I have nothing on Christian. The poor guy was being chased by Spencer (very typical), and when he fell into the corner, his eye met Scout’s cast.
Within minutes, his eye had a serious shiner.
Even after ice and pressure (like boxers do), he still had a very ugly eye. But the kid was in good spirits about ten minutes after it happened. He started to think he looked tough, and couldn’t wait to show his friends at school.
And just to think it was only moments the little jokester was hopping into Dash and Rosie’s picture.
What a difference a minute makes!
