We were so lucky that Abby was able to be baptized over in Hawaii. Shem and Kasi worked it all out, and we had the bishop preside and it was an awesome way to spend our Sunday. In the program, I am pleased to report that Tristen and I were asked to sing together. (My mom and Shem both spoke and did a perfect job.) I am sad to report that Tristen has an AWFUL voice, and it went a little awry. We chose Armies of Helaman, and had all of the kids join in on the chorus. Even though there might have been a little mishap — the spirit we felt was strong, and it was a perfect day.
Look at that little tan and peeling face. She will never forget this day!
Nor will her family — even if it is due to Tristen’s singing!
I am so glad that we were all there to join in on the really exciting day. It really was a fantastic day.
